Rare Moments Cherished
Ever since I birthed my third son, complete solitude has been rare to capture. For the past month I've been saying "I really want and need a solo hike". Well my wish was granted on the last Sunday of February. All the kids went their separate ways while it was JUST ME and nature. The walk extended just as long as I wanted and many symbolisms had blessed me within those 3 hours.
Indecisive of what park reservation to go to, I ended up at one of my favorites and took the opposite way of familiarity for new adventure and less traffic. It wasn't long before I started confessing and crying out loud about being more kind to my children plus asking for forgiveness. Then I randomly stopped to pause spotting a tree chewed up by a beaver (not truly relevant). I was humorously amazed cause I’ve never seen that in real life only in story books. In that moment I asked “Spirit show me ypu’re here with me” and the wind blew strong enough for me to know.
Miracously the wind wasn't the only sign of spirit being present that day. Quite honestly I'm still in shock of what I saw after I was introduced to a mini oasis filled with clear running water, clean soft sand, perfect sun to shade ratio, and a beautiful tree with a smooth bark for relaxing and play. This was truly paradise in nature for me !
When I first started learning of chakras years ago, I often recall the power and manifestation of signing your name in sand so that was my move. I found a stick, signed my name, drew some symbols of what I wanted, and sealed it with a master reiki symbol Ta-Ma-Rasha. Literally couple minutes after being finished, I looked up and spotted an eagle clear as day in distance flying ! I got that baby on video, photographic memory wasn’t enough.
If you are or are not aware of symbolisms and their significance, seeing an eagle is a great sign! Now pf course I'm use to seeing the average birds such as cardinals, blue jays, robins (whom showed me the path to the oasis), hawks, and woodpecker's. But to see an eagle !!! I knew Spirit heard me and got my request immediately. Let's break down the eagle symbolism so you can understand my excitement and amazement of this sighting.
I'll start with the time being 2:44, when added up it equals 10. The number 10 represents completion of a cycle and new beginnings. I don't share everything in my life, but I've been focused on achieving particular results in the spiritual realm to integrate with my physical world. The 10 can also represent as a reminder of you being the master of your own destiny, leadership, confidence, and success. This is how my life is supposed to be, me becoming the master and boss (as people say) of my own life. If interested in more of this number here is a further breakdown of the angel number 10.
Now although I knew the sighting of the eagle was huge I didn't know all of the insight behind it. Eagles represent freedom, confidence, resourcefulness, and implementation. All of which my focus has been on since I turned 28 (10). I've learned they're connected to the crown chakra because of their bald white feathered head bringing in messages from spirit. The crown chakra purpose is to receive intuitive messages, visions, and knowledge from higher up. My intuition has tremendously increased since giving birth and implementing more meditation back into my life.
*Sings* I've got strength, courage, and wisdom. It's been inside of me allll along, come on India Arie. (Listen to that song !). The personal connections are so many with the eagle. I've been praying, learning, working, implementing, and calling out for a change within my life. Eagle showed up that day as the messenger of vision, strength, power, focus, and fierce determination. As a person who shows interest and have been learning of shamanism my heart keeps smiling with this profound memory.
Lastly my favorite piece of remembrance connected to eagle is through astrology. As a Scorpio we are connected to three growth stages, the scorpion, the phoenix and the eagle. I am not saying I'm at the stage as of now, but if you can't add 2 and 2. I’ll tell ya I am getting closer. This is definitely the year for me with no confusion around that. It's been made CLEAR!
